Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story

Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story because of the way your articles reach humans who have an interest in them. Article Marketing will help you increase your link popularity, search engine positioning for your keywords and phrases, and it helps you reach more potential customers for your products or services.

Search Engine Optimization, commonly referred to as SEO, is the process of optimizing, or configuring a website or webpage for natural search engine indexing and ranking. In other words optimized the webpage or website is, the easier it is for search engines to find it.

Search engines use algorithms (code) to match the word or key phrases, often referred to as "keywords" or "keyphrases", that a user types into the search field with the webpages, files and websites that it has stored knowledge of. These algorithms look for specific data and attempt to return the best match for what it thinks the user is searching for. Given a search engine such as Google, this process happens millions of times a day in seconds.

Some of the specific data the search engines are looking for falls into two primary parts. These parts are known as "on page" seo and "off page" seo.

On page seo is basically configurations that are made on the webpage or website itself. On page seo generally deals with such areas as optimizing the title tag, the anchor tags text, the meta keyword tag, the meta description tag, and the contents in such a way that the search engine can read the source code and content of the webpage or website, and know whether or not it is relevant to what the user is searching for.

Off page seo is basically seo actions that are performed outside the realm of the webpage or website itself. Off page seo is the task of obtaining inbound links from other websites or webpages that are themselves optimized and well ranked for the same keywords or keyphrases. When the search engines detect that there are inbound links to your webpage that have similar topics to your website or webpages theme, they will use this data during the analysis to help determine relevancy to the users search.

Note that there are other things that can be done to optimize a website or webpage that are not mentioned here that are beyond the scope of this introduction. Also, note that the list is every changing in terms of what it includes and level of importance.

Finally, the ultimate goal of the search engines is to provide relevant results to the users original query. Applying the factors listed here while writing naturally flowing but relevant content for websites or webpages is SEO - Serach Engine Optimization.

Just what are the Benefits of Submitting Articles to E-Zines

E-zine advertising is perhaps one of the most underused forms of promotion. It is a good idea to do your homework, before launching your viral marketing campaign. Article writing and publishing has become the latest buzz in the internet website marketing world. The name of the game as far as Internet marketing

Content still reigns as the king in the world of Search Engine Optimization. Some websites get on top of SERP's because of high-powered link building campaigns, but when you talk about visitor loyalty and traffic retention and yes, public consumption, it will always require that good ol' optimized content. How does one manufacture a SEO-friendly optimized Content?t.

How does one manufacture a SEO-friendly (optimized) Content?

1. Readers first, then keywords.

In the previous years, SEOs follow this trend: keywords first, then content. Now that Google has integrated Latent Semantic Indexing in its algorithm, webmasters found out that it aint just the keywords that matter, but the related terms that revolve around your content. That means you cant just repeat the word, cheap cars for sale twenty times in your paragraphs. It needs more substance (and related words) than that. Its almost like writing for your readers alone, and not the search engines. But of course, itll be Google and the others who will determine your rankings.

2. Diversify Anchor Text Links

As Aaron Wall pointed out, there has to be some variations in the text when one creates those blue-highlighted anchor text links. The links on a page are what the search engine spiders follow in determining your website structure. Most likely, the text used in the links are being considered in figuring out what a page is all about. You may also set some keyphrases in bold letters. That tells the spiders which terms youre trying to emphasize, just dont overdo it.

3. Take note of word count

Although its been a classic rule that readers online do not read, it simply doesnt mean that one has to deprive the online users of good, meaty content. Stick to at least 250 words a page. SEOs know that writing down for an appropriate length of text means being more able to include more related terms for the target keywords.

And now, how do you offer your optimized content for consumption?

1. Social Bookmarking

If the content is real good (i.e. controversial, substantial, significant to a great part of the crowd), then its best to digg it, make people reddit, and tag people at delicious. News items are great at Netscape.com. How tos and tips are perfect in Wikihow

2. Social Networking

Share your blog announcements, latest promos, or any significant tidbit of a fact at your bulletin and Group posts at MySpace, and any other social networks you find helpful in bringing traffic to your site. Just a tip: Make it short and sweet in your bulletin posts since a bulletin is supposed to be quick.

3. Content Submissions

Good quality traffic from reputable websites like ezinearticles, goarticles, and isnare will help out in traffic and visibility. It might hurt your rankings though, because these sites are deemed authorities or of great value by Google.

Blogging does a good job at sharing and syndicating content. If you have a website, and a separate blog (checkout: Link Building with your Blog), itll ease out the load in gaining visitors.

A SEO-friendly content is no longer the restrictive, robotical-sounding content it used to be. Search engines, in their aim to continuously refine search are catering more to the online readers, the social aspect of the World Wide Web. Content comes out to be more human-centered, and ready for consumption.

Making Money with Your Blog!

Sometimes you have great ideas but no talent for writing. This is when it becomes a good idea to hire a writer. Or you may be a very busy professional or expert in your field that is already really busy but needs an e-book or scores of SEO articles and have no time to write them. If either of these situations describes you, then you might consider hiring a ghostwriter.

There are several sites on the web where writers advertise their talents but the best two for ghostwriting SEO, blog writing and e-books are www.guru.com and www.elance.com. Both of these sites require a paid membership but it is well worth it as that fee (which is paid by both clients and providers) is there to keep the rank amateurs out of your face. The competence level on both of these sites is pretty high. On both sites writers bid competitively to get your job and you can assess a writer by looking at their comments and feedback. However keep in mind that both these sites are slanted to get the providers to do writing for as cheap as possible and many inethical marketers give bad feedback in hopes of getting a discount on their product. Talking directly to a writer on guru or elance and asking for samples is the best indication of whether you are hiring the best ghostwriter for you or not.

Also it seems that of all the brokerage or agency type sites on the web most freelance writers who specialize in web writing seem to have conglomerated on either of those two sites, so if you are serious about hiring they are definitely worth checking out if you are looking for high quality writing. Guru and elance are also the cheapest places to find SEO ghostwriters on the Internet as well.

Article marketing, as millions of webmasters would agree, is currently the best website promotional tool that aims to drive huge, quality traffic to your website without the need to spend a single dime. As this marketing tool is easy to use and proven to deliver great results, it is currently the most used traffic-generating and advertising tool in the internet today.

Here are the 4 effective methods to accelerate your article marketing:

1. Quality. This is the most important element in your article marketing campaign. You have to make sure that all your articles are of high quality and well-written to increase your clickthrough rate and convince more people to widely distribute your articles online. As you know, the more people publishing your articles, the more inbound links you will be able to obtain for your website.

2. Title. Most new marketers ignore this element as they think that the quality of their articles is enough to stir attention online. This is but plain wrong and could be deadly for your marketing strategy. You need to understand that even before online users can check on your content, they would consider your titles first. If they are not intriguing and attention-grabbing, there is no way that your articles will be opened and read.

3. Optimize. Make your articles search engine-friendly so they will become highly searchable online. Download a reliable keyword suggestion tool to figure out which keywords are usually searched within you target niche and sprinkle them all throughout your content. Don't forget to include your main keyword on your titles too.

4. Publishing sites. Consider the page ranking and quality of traffic of article submission sites before you post your articles. Do not waste your time on sites that are not even indexed by Google as these cannot help you realize your article marketing goals.

Three Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills. With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me." Remember that saying from when you were a kid? Who were they kidding? Words are powerful tools and have a very profound effect on us. Words of praise make us happy; words of love fill us with warm emotions; words of criticism can make us sad or defensive, and angry words can hurt us deeply.

When you are creating articles, newsletters, press releases, etc., it is critical to choose your words carefully. You want your articles to be interesting as well as informative. If you are selling a product or service that you love, you want that passion to be evident in your writing. You want your readers to feel your enthusiasm and get excited over the product or service that you are offering. If you are trying to promote something that does not thrill or make you happy, you should probably think about your options. Life is too short not to love what you do.

Where do you find those "expressive" words?

1. A Thesaurus is a good place to start. The really great thing about this resource is that it is only a mouse click away. If the word you have chosen does not quite give you the punch you are looking for, check the Thesaurus for alternatives.

2. Look in the Dictionary to make sure you really understand what the word you are using means.

I had to write a marketing letter in a business communications class that I took several years ago and decided my product would be chocolate chip cookies (now you know what I am passionate about!). I thought I had written a great article. My mouth watered just reading about those cookies; just one little problem...I described the cookie as decadent. My professor noted, "You should make sure you know what a word means before you use it." Apparently he had never listened to chocolate commercials or used a Thesaurus. He went straight to Webster's New World Dictionary where decadent is described as, "a 19th century writer or artist living in a period of decline," not even one mention of self-indulgence! I still was able to argue my case thanks to the Thesaurus; however, maybe I should have looked the word up in the dictionary as well. I might have come up with a better description and avoided confusing the poor man.

Keep it simple.

1. Even though you want your words to be powerful, make sure they are not the latest "increase your vocabulary - word of the day." You want your readers to relate to what you are saying, not have to get a dictionary out to interpret every other word you wrote.

Words are wonderful, especially written words. So go ahead and express yourself; after all, there ARE enough words to describe!
