Affiliates - Increase Your Income with Article Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of the most lucrative and successful online income resources that exist. Most great affiliates have researched many different ways in which they can be successful with their affiliate marketing. This is how they are successful, in fact. Keeping up with an ever-changing market can be tough and sometimes frustrating, but in order to earn a real income as an affiliate, it is necessary. As an affiliate, have you ever considered article marketing? As one of the best ways to generate traffic and build lists, this is a great thing to couple with affiliate marketing.

Article marketing is when you submit your own unique, quality, and keyword-rich articles to article marketing directories like Ezine Articles or Article Feeder. The articles would have to do with the product or service that you are offering, and may outline the benefits or the reasons to purchase this product or service. The best way this is accomplished is with a freelance writer or ghostwriter who can create this article to be subtle but have it speak to potential customers. These articles are published under a corresponding category, and when people search for keywords that are placed in the article, yours pops up. Of course, in order for your article to be displayed with the search results, several things must be accomplished.

First of all, there has to be a correct amount of SEO within the article. Of course, this means keywords. The proper keyword density is around 3 to 5%. When more than this is added, the search engines consider the article to be keyword stuffed, which is pretty much another term for spam. The article also has to flow well in order to interest the readers, and contain enough information for them to trust you and consider you an expert in your niche. After they read the article, they will see your author byline, which will include a call to action and a link to your website. Ideally, if the article is good, they will click on the link, already prepared to purchase a product or service from you. At the very least, you should be able to have them sign up for a free newsletter or something similar so that you can build your list.

Article marketing can be very effective for affiliate marketers in order to boost their business, create more customers and sales, or build their contact list. It is a great addition to the other types of marketing in which affiliate marketers have become proficient. The credibility it creates for you will simply build your reputation as an expert within your niche, and this is great for your career. If you are skilled in SEO and the subtleties of article marketing, try your hand at it today. If you're not, find a great ghostwriter or freelance writer to craft your articles for you! Utilize the tips and ideas within this article to help you get your article marketing campaign started, and increase your affiliate marketing business. Good luck on your journey to great success!

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Remember when you could depend on warranty work to make your service department profitable? Or, when you could depend on customers coming in for service every three months or 3,000 miles for oil changes? There was a time when you didn't have to get aggressive or sell tires or worry about the competition or be open on Saturdays, but click your heels Dorothy, you aren't in Kansas anymore. The times have changed and you have to change with them or you will be left in the dust.

You know what I'm talking about. Warranty income is declining because cars are built better. Customer-pay repair work is falling. When was the last time you replaced a rusted out muffler or sold a set of shocks or struts? Now factor in that maintenance intervals are constantly being stretched, with 100,000-mile tune-ups and 50,000-mile coolant service recommendations from the factory. Synthetic oils and oil life monitors are pushing up oil change intervals as far as 10,000 miles or more. I have said this before - if the factory had their way they would weld the hood shut! The result of all this maintenance-free driving adds up to less service visits and less service income.

If that weren't bad enough, the competition has never been stronger! They're out in full force fighting for your customers. They're aggressive, competitive, convenient and convincing, and they are in prime locations with a mission to steal all of your customers. Count how many places you could go to have your car serviced on your way home tonight.

If you want to succeed in this business you have to beat the competition at their own game. You have to sell tires. You have to have low prices on oil changes and you have to be open and convenient. You have to give customers a reason to do business with you, and they will.

If you sell tires, and I hope you do, then you need to really get into the tire business. You need to look, smell, and feel like a tire store so when customers come in they will know you sell tires. Advertise it everywhere; the phone book under "Tires" is a good place to start. Put tires on all of your direct mail and tag your vehicle sales ads. We know that 75 percent of customers will buy all of their service work where they buy their tires, and we know that one out of seven customers that enter your service lane need tires. Plus, four out of five consumers will buy from the first person that tells them they need tires.

Offer a 20 percent low-price guarantee on tires. Tell customers to buy now with confidence and if they find the same tires for less within 60 days you'll pay them the difference, plus 20 percent. How much can it be? And when was the last time you went shopping for something after you already bought it? It doesn't happen, and if it does, give them the difference, plus 20 percent in the form of a credit for service. Do the math on how little that really costs you!

Next, when it comes to service traffic, the center point is your oil change price. It is the driving force that will make the difference between a traffic jam or tumbleweeds on your lane. Don't be afraid to get low and very aggressive on your oil change price. Something in the neighborhood of $17.95 will do the trick. Before you freak out, answer this question: how much do you make when the customers go somewhere else for service? You will undoubtedly have some customers that just come in for the low-priced, no-gross oil change. That's life. But you will also see repair orders that start out as oil changes turn into $1,000 tickets. Customers think you charge too much. Get low on the oil change and the services that customers have a perceived value on, and raise prices on repairs. It works, I've done it. Customers think that since your oil change and rotate and air filter are a great deal that everything must be a great deal.

Finally, let's talk about convenience. Are you open for business and convenient for your customers or just convenient for you? You have to be open early and close late if you want to attract customers to your store. I personally like a store to be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday - Saturday. It's easy for customers to remember, it's your niche, just like Wal-Mart being open 24 hours. Some dealerships are even starting to open Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and I say if the market dictates it, go for it.

Now, for all of you negative people who say you can't do enough business on Saturdays, I say this: go to a tire store or some other independent "convenient" shop and they will tell you that Saturday is their best day of the week. It's convenient for their customers, so they're open. One reason dealership service departments say they're slow on Saturdays is because all week customers are told to not come in on Saturday. Advisors use terms like half day, skeleton crew, parts problems, not enough time, etc. How many customers do you think would want to come to your store on Saturday and hang out with the skeletons anyway?

You have to be open all day Saturday. For those of you that want to cry about working too much, use shifts. The independents figured out how to do it, why can't you? Don't try to shortcut it to noon or 1 p.m. either. If you aren't open Saturdays all day you might as well close. Half-day Saturdays went out with the hula hoop and the 8 track. Service advisors and techs that work half-day Saturdays begin the morning telling customers that they can't get the job done because they close early. Way to go. The customer finally wants to give you a chance and you make him realize that he's made a mistake. We have to make it easy for customers to say yes and hard for them to say no to doing business with us if you want to succeed in the competitive world of auto service.

The bottom line: Now more than ever, you need every single service customer you can get. You have to get aggressive with your offers and your prices. You have to be open. You have to sell tires. And don't stop there. Train your service advisors on how to be service salespeople who know how to answer the phone, how to invite customers in and how to maximize opportunities by closing more deals on the drive. Become a Service Sales Manager - it's the most fun you'll ever have and the payback is awesome!

Viral marketing is a methods of list building

There are multiple methods of list building, and if you are just getting started, until you have gained mastery over one or two methods, it is advisable to use multiple methods of list building strategies. You’ll see every step of the process, no matter how small, in exacting detail so

Let me ask you a very important question. Are you maximizing your marketing efforts? The reason that I ask this is that this is the number 1 reason that most internet marketers fail online.

I remember when I first started online life was very rough. I really felt overwhelmed as there were so many different skills that I needed to learn. I learnt the hard way that I needed to track and test everything to see where I was getting the best return.

Let us look at how I use a proven system of marketing to build my business. I send all my traffic to a squeeze page where the main purpose is to capture the name and email address of my subscribers. After this has taken place I send my traffic to a high converting sales page where I make sales immediately. Then I follow up with my subscribers by building a relationship and backend promotions where I make most of my money.

So let us look at in forensic detail how I use article marketing to do this. I write keyword optimized articles and submit them to all the major article directories. I include a link to my squeeze page in my resource box. All the traffic that I get from the article directories will build my subscriber lists as they are sent to a squeeze page to download a free report.

This is a really simple system that works. Now the key to make this very profitable is to track and test everything. When I first started I was not making that much money. However, I tracked and tested everything I did. I found some offers that converted very well. I also consistently tweaked my sales pages to ensure that I get the maximum results from them.

Once you start implementing this in your business you will realize how simple internet marketing is.

Article marketing is an easy, powerful and effective way to market your business.

Here's a checklist you can use for every article you write.

1. Know your goal for each article

What's your goal for your article? Your goal may be to provide links and traffic to your Web site, or to promote a product or your services.

Write your goal down. When you're writing, it's very easy to forget what your goal was.

2. What's your reader's takeaway?

Each article needs to have a takeaway - a benefit - for your reader. This enhances your credibility, and makes it more likely that the reader will visit your site via the links in your resource box to see what else you have to offer.

Write down your takeaway.

3. Develop your keywords so your readers will find you

Research the most appropriate keywords for your article. Collect five to 10. You'll emphasize two to three in the article, the others will be added to article's Web page meta tags.

4. Develop an intriguing title that's relevant and includes a promise

Think of your article's title as a headline. It's the most important part of your article, because it attracts attention, and it should include the promise of a benefit to the reader.

Make sure the title is relevant to your article, and includes your most important keyword.

5. Write the article, delivering on your promise

When you're writing your article, ensure that you deliver on the promise you made in the title. Unless you deliver, your reader will have no incentive to click through to your site - he no longer trusts you, because you don't keep your promises.

6. Write the resource box for the article

Your "resource box" has a single goal - to get the reader to click through to your landing page for the article. Make another promise of a benefit if the reader clicks.

7. Post the article on your site

Add the article to your Web site as site content, adding links to products and services relevant to the article.

8. Post the article to an article directory

Should you post your article to several article directories for promotion and traffic, or just one?

Some article marketers believe that you should post your articles to many directories. However, I prefer to post to a single directory. It saves time and I haven't noticed any benefits from posting to many directories. Your mileage may be different.

So there you have it - your article marketing checklist. It will increase the speed at which you can write effective articles by giving you a method to follow.

Making Money with Your Blog!

Popularized by the Pipeline Profits promotion, Co-Registration has captured a lot of attention recently. This article will give you the facts about Co-Registration.

Co-Registration is a way of buying targeted subscribers and leads to your newsletter/ezine from a 3rd party service in bulk.

The leads are gathered by websites who are offering something in return from people opting in to that website's newsletter.

It basically involves having your subscription offer listed alongside other publications' offer, so that when someone signs up to the other newsletters, he or she is given the option of signing up for yours as well without needing to re-enter his or her personal information.

Well known Internet Marketing Expert Dr Raplh Wilson has said that, "Co-Registration is a widely-used approach to increase the size of your e-mail lists. Co-Registration works this way: After completing a subscription form or upon leaving a website, visitors are invited to subscribe to one or more e-zines. If yours is listed among these and the site gets a substantial amount of traffic, you'll begin to receive a number of subscriptions. "

Let me give you an example: If you go to a website like NYTimes.com, and register for a their free content, you will have to give up your information such as your name, email address, phone number etc.

Once you're registered, you will then be taken to a page that shows you some other offers and newsletter you can subscribe to as well. This is where your subscription offer is listed, and the chance for the surfers to subscribe to your list. The website will then send you the subscribers that have chosen to subscribe to your offer for you to add to your list.

Hotmail does something similar as well when you sign up for a free email account.

When you are buying Co-Registration leads, you are basically buying a ready made opt-in email list that belongs to you. You can make your Co-Registration leads into a regular list that knows you and buy from you.

Many people think that Co-Registration leads are some sort of SPAM, therefore do not use it. They are NOT SPAM. Co-Registration leads are 100% CANSPAM compliant and safe. They are made up of opt-in subscribers, not gathered by some sort of software that craw the web looking for email addresses.

The reason I highly recommend using Co-Registration to build your list is because it easy, quick and cost-effective. It is also highly targeted, because you are only paying when the person joins your list and having seen your offer and the value you're offering.

There are many Co-Registration services and lead suppliers on the web that you can buy Co-Registration leads from. Some of these services gather leads from those offer pages with other publications on websites such as NYTimes. Some of these Co-Registration services use their own offer page to collect leads.

Make sure that the subscribers you are receiving from your Co-Registration services are targeted, and are looking for what your list is offering. No matter how good the leads are, if they are not targeted, they will be useless.

Ensure that the lists they are providing are fresh. Ask them how old the leads are. If they are more than 30 days old, do not use them. You do not want to buy cold lists; you may run into trouble. Just like any regular lists, you want to mail to the freshest list you can get your hands on. Fresh lists are more responsive.Make sure you have permission to send emails to the Co-Registration leads. You do not want to be receiving nasty SPAM complaints. Some leads suppliers provide you leads that are being forced to join. These people are usually being paid by money to join, or somebody who wants to win the sweepstakes. Do not ask for leads from these services and suppliers.

Ask your lead supplier how many times the list of leads has been sold. Some services sell the list to 5 different people, causing the list to become less responsive. If the list has been sold more than 2 times, do not buy from them.

I highly recommend Co-Registration services and suppliers that are integrated with 3rd party autoresponders, as this allows the subscribers to subscribe DIRECTLY and INSTANTLY onto only your list, meaning you would not have to wait to be sent leads from the suppliers for you to upload into your autoresponder.

You should always make sure that you can get your email address as soon as possible (what else is better than instant?), as you want to start making money from them right away. The longer you wait, the more likely these addresses become outdated, the higher the chances of getting spam complaints.

I also recommend that you should use Co-Registration services and suppliers that use double opt-in to decrease the chance of spam complaints.

Another idea is to approach ezine publishers directly to see if they are interested in a Co-Registration agreement. You can arrange a deal with the publishers to put your newsletter offer on their registration "thank you page" and you put their offer on your thank you page. Just make sure that you are not in direct competition and only share a similar target market.

You can go to Google to find a list of newsletter/ezine directories.

No matter which method you choose, just ensure that you are getting quality email addresses, and ensure that your offer is placed next to publications that share similar target market with you. You don't want your offer being grouped with a bunch of newsletters offering free golf tips if your newsletter is about home business opportunities.Co-Registration leads usually cost anywhere between 15 cents and $1 per subscriber, depending on where your source is, your niche market, and whether it is double opt-in or single opt-in.

The subscribers can be worth far more than $1 if you calculate the value of these potential customers.

You will be able to get a feel on how much each subscriber is worth after sending out few promotions using this formula (it's only an estimate): For subscribers generated from Co-Registration only, you can usually get around $1-$1.5 per subscriber (varying from niche to niche), spending only around $0.3 - $0.4 per subscriber.

That's around $1 profit per subscriber. What if you can buy a co-registered list of 10,000 or even 100,000? That would be a profit of $100,000!

When used correctly Co-Registration leads are a great way to build your list fast!

Most of us write articles to generate clicks from the links that we place in the resource box. The main purpose of this is to either increase traffic to our websites or to interest readers in a product that we are promoting. But how do we realize these goals?

In order to succeed, there are 3 main tasks you must accomplish:

1) Youve got to attract readers. The only real method to attract viewers is with a compelling title. When people are looking for information on a particular subject, they scan through a list of titles. This list may contain several hundred articles. Your title has to grab them and compel them to read your piece. Your title has to jump out at them and draw them in. If youve written a great article full of fascinating information, no one will read it if it has an uninteresting title. All of your work will have been fruitless. Youve got to grab their attention with an intriguing title.

2) Youve got to have a good article. If your article is not well written, or if it contains little information of value, your readers will quickly click away, and again, your work will have been fruitless. For that reason, it is important to write a great article with good information, and a compelling title.

3) The third ingredient for a successful article is a good resource box. Ideally, the information in your article should be related to the links in your resource box. This is extremely important. If your article is about ice fishing in Alaska and your links refer to vacationing in the tropics, you probably wont generate many clicks. Thats because the people who read the article are interested in ice fishing, not sun bathing. However, if your resource box contained links for a travel agency specializing in Alaskan tours, you would probably generate a lot of clicks. Coordinate the information in your resource box with the content of your article. I use a number of different resource boxes, depending on what I am writing about.

If youve done a good job in each of these three areas, your article will achieve very good readership and your links will generate plenty of traffic. If your article is generating good readership, but you are not getting many clicks, it may mean that you need to work on steps 2 or 3 above.

With some of my best articles, over 17% of the readers have clicked on my links. That is a great percentage! On average though, only about 7%-8% of readers will click on a link.
